Security · data handling

Protect the data. Govern the meaning and decisions.

Security covers more than storage: it includes who can see source data, review mappings and approve recommendations made from the connected model.

Data handling

Controls follow the customer context.

  • Access. Permissions should limit source data, mappings, workspace views and approval actions to authorised users.
  • Handling. Customer data is used to provide the agreed service; see the privacy summary for collection, retention and deletion language.
  • Architecture review. Current hosting, integration and control details are provided during assessment rather than implied through unsupported badges.
Semantic controls

Every mapping stays reviewable.

AI can map existing fields, records and documents and resolve identities across systems. Each mapping should retain source lineage, review status, effective dates and version history so teams can inspect which meaning was used for a decision.

Decision boundary

High-impact actions require accountable approval.

AI proposes. Rules and solvers validate. People approve high-impact decisions. PatternLab does not provide a Quality product and never gates a GMP release. Validated release decisions remain with the customer's authorised people and systems.
